The new additions mainly target passenger cars, with selected light commercial vehicles (LCVs) also in the mix. In total, the 53 starters are linked to 415 original equipment (OE) part numbers, catering for 3,864 models and 75 million vehicles, the majority of which are for high volume European manufacturers.

Providing extensive coverage across leading European manufacturers, the new starters have a strong focus on VAG brands. These include popular models such as the Audi A1–A4, A6, Q3 and Q7; Seat Alhambra, Exeo, Ibiza, Leon and Toledo; Škoda Fabia, Octavia and Superb; and Volkswagen Golf, Passat, Sharan and Touareg.

In addition however, the range extends to high volume models from other major European brands, including Citroën, Ford, Mini, Opel, Peugeot, Renault and Volvo.

Premium manufacturers are also well represented. Applications include the BMW 3 Series, 5 Series, X3, X5 and Z4; Mercedes-Benz C-Class, E-Class, GLK and SLK, as well as the Porsche Cayenne.

The new references are rounded out with key LCVs, including the Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter and VW Transporter.

These new additions can be ordered through the DENSO distributor network and are listed, along with thousands of other premium quality components, in the company’s E-catalogue https://www.denso-am.eu/catalog or via TecDoc.
