Durability and increased fuel efficiency from DENSO’s OE technology

DENSO has announced the launch of a new range of ten Camshaft and Crankshaft Position Sensors, ensuring that 5.5 million Toyota and Lexus models in the European car pool now have the benefit of DENSO OE technology available.

The sensors provide information to the vehicle’s ECU to control injection timing and ignition timing. In case of sensor failure, the engine stalls or may not even be able to start. The five new DENSO Crankshaft Position Sensors have 129 unique applications across the Toyota and Lexus range both past and present, while the eight new DENSO Camshaft Position Sensors have 119 applications across the same vehicle pool.
