How cabin air filters work

Cabin air filters ensure that no harmful substances from the road enter the vehicle cabin, with two options available to purchase: particle filters and combination filters.

DENSO’s particle filters have a multi-layer fleece material that removes dust and solid matter from the air. With a large dust-holding capacity and minimal air flow resistance, they offer exceptional protection from dust, soot, pollen and particles. Our range of combination filters purify the air in a range of ways. First, they capture particles in a close meshed, non-woven filter layer. Then, any small charged particles are held back by electrostatic interaction. Finally, a layer of nanofibers is spun into the filter media, preventing the air pressure from dropping.
