DENSO announce Ignition Coil range expansion

The advanced engineering and OE quality of DENSO Ignition Coils is now available for even more aftermarket applications following the announcement of another extension within the Engine Management Systems (EMS) programme.

From the end of February, three new Ignition Coil part numbers, and five OE part numbers have been made available covering 48 new applications, including Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Fiat and Honda.

In today’s low emission, high-efficiency engines, advanced OE quality ignition coils are key for effective combustion. DENSO Ignition Coils offer high quality silicone boots and grommets to withstand extreme temperatures, resist oil, and provide a water tight seal to achieve consistent, high energy ignition output. DENSO’s industry leading design eliminates section bobbin hardware, resulting in a compact size. The Ignition Coils also include an integrated noise suppression capacitor to effectively block ignition interference with radio, or other electronic devices.

This recent expansion brings the number of DENSO Ignition Coil part numbers in its growing range to eight; corresponding to 21 OE part numbers, covering 164 applications including Toyota, Citroen, Peugeot, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Fiat and Honda. All products match OE quality standards.

“Our continually growing replacement Engine Management Systems programme allows distributors and garages across Europe to benefit from our reliable, OE quality, advanced technology,” said Fanis Kapetanakis, Product Manager Engine Management Systems at DENSO Europe B.V.’s Business Unit After Market. “In addition to the Ignition Coil range expansion this month, we will be announcing further new part numbers and ranges throughout the year to enhance and expand the whole EMS programme.”
