New DENSO Fuel Pumps put quality centre stage

DENSO Europe B.V.’s After Market and Industrial Solutions Business Unit has announced the addition of two new Fuel Pumps to its range, covering the Toyota Prius and Toyota Land Cruiser.

Part of the company’s continually expanding Engine Management Systems (EMS) programme, the additions bring the total number of DENSO replacement Fuel Pumps to nine, covering more than 230 applications.

Fanis Kapetanakis, DENSO Europe Product Manager, confirmed: “Our OE quality Fuel Pump range, which features brand new, rather than remanufactured, parts, is being extremely well received by customers. We intend to grow the range still further throughout the year.”

Carrying fuel from the fuel tank to the vehicle engine, fuel pumps play a vital role in keeping every engine moving – and need to be designed and manufactured to the highest quality to avoid the frustration of fuel pump failure.

Like all of DENSO After Market’s products, its Fuel Pumps are made to exacting OE quality, with advanced design. Inside each unit, DENSO’s proprietary turbine pump technology features a V-shaped internal impeller that delivers fuel with minimal pressure pulsation and a much quieter operation. The Fuel Pumps also offer the highest sustained fuel pressures in the industry. As a result they are chosen as original equipment by the world’s most demanding car makers – for their premium vehicles in particular.

DENSO’s replacement Fuel Pump range includes both Type C in-tank and Type H38 in-tank. They draw less current than older style fuel pumps, while still accurately measuring pressure for a more superior performance.

Fanis Kapetanakis continued: “We are extremely excited by the latest developments in our Fuel Pump programme, which combines brand new part numbers with exceptional performance.”
